As reported by Forbes in their article “Why The Supply Chain Crisis Positioned India For Global Trade Growth,” as India has made strides to improve their infrastructure and to entice foreign businesses, there has been an increase in companies across industries recognizing India’s place in the global supply chain.
In order to contribute towards India’s global trade footprint in manufactured engineering components, Aerostar is in the process of opening its third office in Chennai, India. This office is slated to support Aerostar’s goal of supplying its customers in North America, Europe and South America.
“This investment, combined with India’s broader infrastructure improvements, is evidence of its increasingly prominent role in the global supply chain. For U.S.-based small and medium-sized businesses currently reliant on China for their imported goods and materials, India’s leading potential could offer new and alternate long-term benefits,” Forbes said.
